Superior Technology Solutions is excited to announce their sponsorship of and participation in the Rockland Business Association’s first Tech Expo. On Thursday, June 27, 2013 from 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm at the Dolce Palisades Conference Center, the RBA will host the first event as a result of its recent Technology Initiative. The Tech Expo is free of charge and will include an exhibition of technology providers, a networking lunch, breakout sessions with notable speakers, raffles including a 46” Toshiba flat screen and a networking cocktail hour.
The Tech Expo will welcome two guest speakers. The first, Andre C. McGregor, Special Agent with the FBI, will address Cyber Threats and Internet Security. The afternoon’s second speaker is Ms. Patti Kanner, managing director of Records and Information Management with Atlantic-Tomorrow’s Office. Kanner will guide attendees through document management and proven strategies one should consider when moving to an electronic document management system.
One of the primary goals of the Technology Initiative is to provide an educational forum to their over 1,100 business members about new and emerging technologies. The Initiative coincides with Governor Cuomo’s State of the State presentation, which proposed steps to accelerate the commercialization of good technology ideas and the creation of new businesses.
The Tech Expo will be sponsored by Atlantic-Tomorrow’s Office, Superior Technology Solutions and Ruckus Wireless. In addition to the June TechExpo, the RBA’s Technology Initiative has been hosting free, monthly breakfast presentations surrounding various technology topics, such as last month’s “Developing an Information Security Policy in the Workplace” by Superior Technology president John Luludis.
To register for the Tech Expo, visit the RBA website, www.rocklandbusiness.org, and go to the “Events” page. The event is free of charge for members of the Rockland Business Association. The Dolce Palisades Conference Center is located at 334 Route 9W Palisades, NY, 10964.
